These fools done got me, shawty!

Yesterday my home was burglarized.

I came home from work, late as hell as usual and I noticed that my front door was open. My first instinct was, Damn… Did I leave the door open? I walked into my house and noticed that my television was gone. I was then like, Damn, because I left my door open, my television was stolen.

It did not occur to me that someone had broken into the house until I went into my ransacked bedroom and realized someone had broken into my home and went through everything I have in search of whatever was of value and they took whatever was of value.

My wall-mounted, 52-inch television, surround sound stereo, ipod, laptop, and ENTIRE DVD collection- all gone.

I feel violated. My home does not feel like a home at all, now. It feels like anxiety and apprehension and dread.
I asked Parker to spend the night with me but he told me he couldn’t because he had a job interview the next day and wanted to make sure he was well-rested.

WOOOOOOOOOOOW! I am so sorry to hear that yo! That's absolutely crazy. Did you have homeowners/renters insurance and if so, was your policy up to date with your current assets? If so you can get the monetary value of your stuff back. I know that's no solice for the security that you once felt in your home, however, at least it can help you begin to put your home back together. I've actually been seriously contemplating getting renters insurance for among other reasons, that specific one right there. Good luck baby boy!

Thanks, blaq... I do have insurance. I have to find receipts, and I think I have them for my televison and laptop. The Ipod should be on file with apple. I have no receipt for the stereo or the DVDs. It will be okay. This just really disrupts your life, but it also puts things in perspective.

Yes it does! Nobody ever expects to have their things stolen! Its also the last thing on your mind when you come home. I feel so bad for your situation. I hope all goes well with the insurance!

Thanks for stopping by, I'll be back...

In this day and age everyone looks for the easy way out, this time someone saw you as that way. While this is definitely a disruption in your life, take the lesson and grow from it. As for Parker, im not so sure he meant any harm by it as he was focused on career it seems but maybe he wasnt sure how to respond. Enjoy what you have because this is a perfect example, take away all your possessions and life is still about the people more so than the materials.

Love ya bruh

Always,

Man I am sorry to hear that. My prayers go out to you. I know that this is no solace but have your pity party then mover forward. You know this is God's way of moving some old stuff out of your life to prepare for something NEW!!

Thanks for the love and concern. The case is going VERY SLOWLY in my opinion. I have been persistent with the police department and a detective will finally come out on Thursday (a full week from the actual break-in).

Wow. Really sorry to hear that, man. Well, I know this isn't that comforting, but at least you weren't home at the time. Who knows what could've happened? I've been robbed at gun point. Sorry about your stuff. :( @ the TV and the DVD collection. Hope insurance can at least cover the TV and laptop.

I am just happy to know you are okay. I can only imagine how violated you must feel.
