Can I really answer that question? What would be the consequence of answering that question?
What would you do if your lover gave away a gift you purchased for him or her?
Does love mean to sacrifice?
Is your happiness more important to you or is your lover’s happiness more important? At what point does your answer change?
Was Whitney drunk at the Grammys?
Have you ever felt like "Chris Browning" your lover?

I think in relationships you compromise or come up with a happy medium. If you feel like you need to "Chris Brown" him then you need to end it. Please dont start a Chris Brown and he turns Tina Turner(back of limo in white suit) on you. Remember TD Jakes sermon "Let It Go"...well look at your relationship and ask yourself.."What does he do for me"..and I am not meaning sexual or material...
LET IT GO MAN. I WISH A NICCA WOULD GIVE AWAY A GIFT I PURCHASED FOR HIM. I WOULD END IT RIGHT THEN. WHAT GIFT DID YOUR LOVER GIVE AWAY? RELATIONSHIPS ARE ALL ABOUT SACRIFICES. I DON'T THINK THERE IS A PERFECT MAN OUT THERE FOR ANY OF US. BUT ONCE IN A RELATIONSHIP YOU BOTH MUST SACRIFICE TO TRY TO MAKE EACH OTHER HAPPY.. GOOD LUCK SEXY
I don't believe a lover should give away a gift given them them by their lover.
And who don't at times feel like Chris Browning their lover. LOL
Whitney was simply being herself. She don't got to fake it no more. LOL.
As for the whole Chris Brown thing, I dont' think it should ever come to that. However, I won't say that I've never been tempted to.
I wouldn’t really care if my lover gave away a gift I purchased because I probably bought it in the penny bin anyway. LOL!! Yes, love takes sacrifice, lots of it. It’s a very unselfish requiring act on emotions. You have to always have that person in mind as you make decisions in life. Happiness should be ebb and flow in the motion of a see-saw. You should never keep points, bottom line is that the both of you should be happy and smiling. Yes, Whitney was drunk, but better drunk than drugged up. I was so happy to see her and she looked good. I never wanted to “Chris Brown” my lovers. But I did “Tina Turner” a couple leaving them looking like Ike in the limo. I told him I didn’t want the damn cake!!!
LOL, I'm gonna use that tonight — "Don't make me Chris Brown you!" My boyfriend often acts like he wants to get popped upside the head and knows what buttons to push, but I could never hit someone or be with someone who hit me. Still, it's a cute tease.
It feels like my boyfriend's and my happiness are equally important to me, but I know that I ultimately have control over only one. I do what I can to make him feel loved and celebrated and joyous, but at the end of the day each of us is responsible for whether we are happy.
Love is about sacrifice, and I think it involves a lot of sacrificing of unfounded ideals we have about what a "real relationship" should or should not be.
Case in point, I once had an issue with my boyfriend and gifts. His first Bday gift to me was a gift that one of his students gave him the previous Xmas. I felt hurt and neglected, but when I put that incident next to all the love we've shared over the past two years, it's so unimportant.
If you gave a shitty gift, then re-gifting is fine. Something tells me you didn't give a bad gift though. I'd be hot to trot.
"If you like you need to "Chris Brown" him then you need to end it."
LOL @ Anonymous. A mess.
I WOULD BE REALLY HURT & NOT BUY HIM A GIFT AGAIN
YEAH IT DOES & IT DOESN'T...
I THINK IT CHANGES AS THINGS HAPPENS IN LIFE...
I THINK SHE WAS...
A FEW PAST LOVERS...YEAH!!!
Yes you can answer it... You are busy and you just didn't feel up to blogging.
If a lover gave away something that I bought for them as a gift I wouldn't trip if it were anything other than our commitment rings, or maybe something of great value/ sentimental value. My lovers give shyte away I buy them all the time.
Yes love means making sacrifices.
Our happiness would be a fair exchange, but if he stops loving me equally then my happiness would be most important.
Yes Whitney was other than sober maybe she is on medication.
Hell No, because I had a niggah try that shyte with me some years ago. No physical fighting in a love relationship, but if the brotha gets out of hand I will tap that arse!
No Whitney wasn't drunk, she was just a little wobbly from Ray-J smashing that ass in the dressing room right before she went on. There are pics of them partying later on that night. If Whitney knows like i know, she would keep Ray-J as a side piece. Did y'all see the video--Don't judge me!
I guess it would depend on what the gift was! I really wouldn't mind if someone gave away a shirt i purchased from wherever. If it had sentimental value, then i would guess that might feel a sorta way about it!
Love doesn't mean sacrifice, but there may be sacrifice associated with love. Its a team effort and in order to keep the team high, there might need to be some sacrifice.
I dont know whose happiness is more important. There have been times where it has been about me and vice versa. Since there is a coming and going, I would say they should be equal.
I didn't see whitney at the grammys and I'm not a violent person. But don't try me!
You shouldn't b wit anyone that steals so much of your joy or power that you feel like Chris Browning dem. Someone out there can and will appreciate your kind gestures.

Blogging should never be done out of obligation. Sometimes, you just don't have much to say. As far as regifting, I'd be a little hurt if I wasn't consulted first. How bad would it be if you two went to a function and you saw someone rocking an item you'd bought for him? Honesty is the best policy.
Re-gifting I do it all the time not matter who the gift was from that maybe why I now get a flood of gift cards from everyone. (If I have no use for it or it would be better fit for someone else re-gift)
Hopeless romantics like to believe that you must compromise and sacrifice to make a relationship work, I beg to differ. You were born by yourself and died by yourself, so your happiness is the only thing that matters. When you are unhappy it’s going to affect a lot more things and people in your life then the lover. As for the Chris Browning someone, only if he lay hand on you first.
Lol, I'm sorry I'm so slow, I just got it, "Chris Browning" wow....
LOL i literally burst out laughing at chris browning ur lover. lol u so wrong for that.
BUT OMG the men in that picture are beautiful. (sigh) everytime I see a beautiful man, I thank God!
I really dont know the answers.
Corey, If you get to the point in your relationship that you have to strike each other...then your relationship is out of control. That is the beginning of the end. If my lover gave away something that I gave to him from my heart then...He did not respect my gift and he will not get anything else. I would not leave him but he will feel the impact of me not sharing with him.
First it was Ike and Anna Mae....NOw it's Chris Brown and Rhi Rhi......CB doesn't know he hasn't turned his name into a coined phrase now......Everyone is talking bout "Don't make me go Chris Brown on You" .........sad
