Oh Atlanta! You disappointed so...

So the New Year has come and I can say that last night was the lamest night Atlanta’s ever seen!

I was speaking to Uncle Dee and he commented that this was the first time we have ever been in want of something to do for New Year’s eve.

It’s hard to believe the city I love so much has fallen so low.

The house parties used to be plentiful. This year they were nonexistent. The clubs were open but they were far from popping. Well, the high prices that gradually increased as the night waned were popping for sure but defiantly not in a good way.

On a bright note, I did bring in the New Year at church. Tabernacle was off the chain last night! It’s just that after church was over, there was nothing to do.

I should have gone to New York with Monty and Thomas or DC with Douglas and Fee.

Oh well. Now I know for next year!

Really? I heard Atlanta Live was real cute. At least my friends thought so. I figured there'd at least be a Penthouse party thrown by some pseudo-celebrity cunt. Maybe not.

I'm sorry that Altanta did not live up to your expectations this New Year's. There is always next year.

Try New York just stay away from Time Square and any where relatively close to it. The rest of the city is nice, generally.

Boston also a good choice. Just throwing in that out.

Awww, I'm sorry boo. I kept it cute and simple here in DC with a small hotel party with close friends. The days of bringing in the New Year with drunken strangers is over! Come to DC next year so we can hang!

I don't know about the New Year's Eve but I have had some good time in Atlanta already - for me it's not really about the day but rather about the people I get together with... Happy new year! Great blog!

I too was at church. Then, we ate and went home. The next day we partied and enjoyed ourselves.
